Baha'i House of Worship, Kampala
We visited the Baha'i House of Worship in Kampala, Uganda - this is the only Baha'i temple in the African continent. It is on a hill in Kampala, with a great view of the city.

That picture took me a world away... remember how fantastic that hill was? I had a motercycle-taxi give me a ride up to the top of that hill (where the temple was located) and it was defintely a bumpy ride up. But then all of a sudden, as the driver turned the corner, and the temple came into view, I cannot describe the feeling that took over me. I was very moved in that moment by the utter beauty and serenity of that mountain.
How special that you got to share that with your parents!
